I’m a certified medical writer and seasoned communications leader with a decade of experience supporting biomedical research and public health programs. With a background in professional writing and deep subject matter expertise in clinical trials, infectious diseases, and science communications, I specialize in translating complex scientific content into accurate, accessible, and impactful messaging.

I currently serve as the Director of Writing and Editorial Services at The Scientific Consulting Group, where I lead a team of writers and editors, contribute to cross-functional projects, and support high-profile contracts with the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Before joining SCG, I spent over eight years at Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc., where I supported the National Cancer Institute’s Office of the Director and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

There, I authored and edited a broad range of scientific documents, including clinical protocols, investigator brochures, study reports, informed consent materials, and peer-reviewed publications. I also played a key role on publications committees, guiding authors through manuscript development and submission. I also contributed to multiple publications in high-impact journals such as Annals of Internal Medicine and International Journal of Infectious Diseases, and I coauthored a book chapter on emergency response research for Springer Nature.

Earlier in my career, I worked at CohnReznick LLP, where I developed foundational skills in proposal coordination and technical editing. I supported the marketing and business development teams on federal and commercial proposals, an experience that gave me a strong grounding in deadline-driven, compliance-focused writing. Whether developing technical content for regulatory review or crafting plain language materials for diverse audiences, I bring a clear, strategic, and results-oriented approach to every project.
